Find blueprints to help you craft items from the components you collect


You have found a blueprint. Hold [Q] to access the crafting menu and construct it from collected components


The Bolt Gun is a heavy engineering tool modified to have a powerful shot and long range. It is a pneumatic weapon and once the trigger has been pulled you only have a finite time to fire it before it fires itself.


The station has a security camera system that is still operational in some areas. Some cameras are passive and others are active and can trigger alarms


Some security cameras can be destroyed, others are resistant to damage

ID cards were lost or left behind by residents of the station. When you find them they will be listed on the Missing Persons screen

Elevators can connect you to different sections of the station, but not all are operational

Use terminals to update your map with unexplored areas. Use hud menu to open the map


Use the Rewire system onboard the station to divert power between systems and cause distractions, unlock areas or tilt the odds in your favor


Use Registration Points to manually save your progress. They will warn you if enemies are nearby


Access these terminals to read personal folders, hear audio logs, learn security codes and perform utility actions


The station's Transit system allows you to call a train to the destination of your choice. Press the CALL button on each platform to request a train


The Alien is not the only threat on board the station.


Working Joes are rudimentary androids, but it doesn't mean they're harmless.


EMP devices can be used to disable androids for a short amount of time.


The more you can collect and build the more options you will have to use in a difficult situation.


There are a lot of missing people on the station. Collect their ID tags to find out more.


Crafting items to survive is vital. Find somewhere quiet and dark to build devices.

Vents are a great way of avoiding danger, but they may not always be as safe as you think.


The motion tracker is your key to survival, use it well.


The motion tracker can be heard if you are very close to an enemy. Use it wisely.


Hiding is only ever a temporary solution.


Noises above and below you are indicators that something is lurking nearby.


Survivors on the station are just trying to stay alive. Don’t mess with them and they won't mess with you.


Violence towards humans is contrary to primary synthetic programming, but it doesn’t mean the Working Joes are incapable of doing it.


If you are spotted, run, hide or break line of sight. The longer you stay hidden the better chance you have of evading your pursuer.


Ripley is not a violent person, but will defend herself if she needs to.


Try to avoid conflict or at least make sure you have enough ammo for a fight.
